Water Week Day #2

How did you do on Day #1?  It was a little bit tougher than I thought it would be.  I guess that means that even I tend to over do it on the juices and other stuff.  I do know that I felt pretty good the whole day though.  I had plenty of energy and was not hungry very much throughout the day.  Most importantly I noticed that I tended to make better food choices.  Awesome.

One of the challenges is to make sure that you are getting enough every day for your body to function at its best.  Here is another fun video for you... I assure you that there are better ways to hydrate yourself.

So I'm not sure if you wanted to hear about my challenge with water week - I'm not sure where I should post this.

I started last Friday. I was doing great - Then the sun came out and I had a trip to Eugene - I swear it was my car's fault!!! My car drove into Coffee Culture. I said NO! NO! NO! I was doing great with just water to drink. Then the girl appeared at the window and asked what did I want - I ordered my favorite ice tea. Yes, I Laura am addicted to ice tea. But today I'm back on to my water! I will be stronger!

    Laura,

Your comment totally cracks me up! I know how hard it is to break old habits but this is what the challenge is all about. Just start again. You are one of the most amazing people I know when it comes to taking on difficult things so I KNOW you will get it done.

As for Coffee Culture... This challenge made me realize how often we go to places like Coffee Culture or Starbucks or Jamba Juice because now whenever my little girls see those places and they start begging for a smoothie or hot chocolate or whatever I have to say, "No! We're doing Water Week!" And the hate it! But today finally my oldest daughter said, "Daddy, as long as it's cold and fresh, I like my water." Cute huh?
